Psychotherapist (psychologist or doctor)

For our practice/clinic in Palma de Mallorca, we are looking for a psychotherapist (clinical psychologist or physician with additional training in psychotherapy).

Our approach combines modern psychosomatic medicine, psychotherapy, and innovative treatment methods such as ketamine therapy, hypnosis, and neuromodulation in a multimodal therapy concept.

We work internationally with patients from different countries and attach great importance to personal, individual, and evidence-based treatment.

Requirements

* Degree in psychology or medicine

Sergio Pérez Rosal is a medical doctor specialized in anesthesia, intensive care, emergencies, psychedelic- and cannabis-based medicine. He is the former CEO and Co-founder of the OVID Clinics, the first psychedelic medicine clinic in Germany. Sergio served the on MIND Foundation´s executive board as a Medical and Training Advisor.
Featured for his work in Forbes Magazine, Nomad and a variety of conferences he is a well-known thought leader addressing the gap between research and therapy.

Currently, he is training in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy and doing a master’s degree in Neuroscience and Psychology at Kings College London.

During his time as MIND Academy Director, he organized public talks about psychedelic science and lead the development of educational programs, such as MOLECULES, an extensive program for professionals interested in a transdisciplinary approach to psychedelics.
Sergio has broad experience giving practical workshops on Integration, training on drug-related emergencies, and mindfulness interventions in psychotherapy.

He also took part in the core faculty of the MIND Foundation´s “Augmented Psychotherapy Training” (APT), a 2-year program providing professionals with the knowledge and skills to practice psychedelic-augmented psychotherapy and psychedelic integration therapy in a legal, safe, and evidence-based framework.

Sergio is convinced that the effects of psychedelic substances on mental health and human development go beyond their mere pharmacology and beyond treating diagnosed individuals. Furthermore, it is important to remember that overall health and mental health go hand in hand and improvements have bidirectional effects and a personalized approach will always be superior to one-size-fits-all interventions.

Therefore, it is necessary to standardize procedures and educate professionals and the general public in a scientific, secular, and inclusive manner.

Marc Aixalà is a telecommunications engineer, psychologist, psychotherapist and certified Holotropic Breathwork facilitator specializing in supporting people who face challenging experiences with expanded states of consciousness.

Since 2013, in collaboration with the International Center for Ethnobotanical Education, Research and Service (ICEERS), Aixalà has offered integration psychotherapy sessions for those seeking support after psychedelic experiences. At ICEERS, Aixalà also works to develop theoretical models of intervention and trains and supervises therapists.

Aixalà has served as a team leader and trainer in emergency psychological assistance at Boom Festival through the Kosmicare harm reduction program. He also worked on the first-ever medical trial on the use of psilocybin for treatment-resistant depression, a study chronicled in the 2018 documentary, “Magic Medicine.” He continues to work as a therapist in clinical trials researching psychedelic substances.

Aixalà is trained in the therapeutic use of Non-Ordinary States of Consciousness as well as in MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) by the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). Aixalà works as a psychologist in his private practice in Barcelona, Spain and offers trainings, lectures, and talks related to psychedelic psychotherapy, Holotropic Breathwork and integration. Marc is the author of “Psychedelic Integration: psychotherapy for non-ordinary states”, published in 2021.

Eva Dillon is a psychodynamically trained psychotherapist, an AASECT certified sex therapist, and a ketamine assisted psychotherapist.
She has been trained by Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) & The Ketamine Training Center. Eva offers a sex-positive, collaborative approach and has a special interest in eroticism and enhancing sexual experiences. Her passion and training have been focused on helping people connect with each other to create satisfying relationships. Eva co-leads eight week sex therapy couples groups.

I visualize health in a holistic and profound way and believe in the potential of a comprehensive approach to illness and emotional discomfort. Through this perspective the person is situated at the center of therapy, which includes all of its dimensions: physical, emotional and spiritual, and always with a respectful and humane perspective.

During my personal and professional journey, modified states of consciousness as a therapeutic tool have played a very relevant and transformative role. Phil Wolfson MD is the creator of a new psychotherapy modality based on use of the medicine ketamine—Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). 
Phil is the CEO of the non-profit Ketamine Research Foundation and directs the training of KAP practitioners through The Ketamine Training Center—now numbering over 900 practitioners across the US and Internationally.  KRF’s Ketamine Psychotherapy Associates membership organization promotes the development of KAP practices and KAP wisdom on an ongoing basis. He is the author of The Ketamine Papers and Noe – A Father/Son Song of Love, Life, Illness and Death.  He has been the Principal Investigator of the MAPS.org Phase 2 study of MDMA treatment for individuals with life-threatening illnesses. Dr. Wolfson’s work is the result of an intense, now many decades long clinical psychiatry/psychotherapy practice. Other important points are relaxation exercises, coordination, strengthening of deep muscles and balance. I always keep an eye on the correct movement and flow and immediately adapt the workouts to my clients' needs if necessary. I always look for solutions to make my clients feel good in their bodies during and after the workouts and create a workout that meets their needs.

The main focus of my work as a psychotherapist for children and adolescents is to

  • to analyze behavioral patterns and, if necessary, to change or optimize them.
  • to work actively on the problems, to examine to what extent personal attitudes, such as "I am only worth something if I do everything perfectly" are useful and meaningful, and how they can be changed in order to actively tackle the problems.
  • Improving self-esteem or self-efficacy and improving one's perception of feelings are central themes in therapy.

Focus of treatment :

My treatment specialties include diagnosis and treatment of childhood and adolescent mental illnesses up to age 21, AD(H)S, anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, somatoform disorders, tic-compulsive disorders, and adjustment disorders.

Veronika Gold

Veronika Gold works as a therapist, trainer and supervisor for Ketamine and MDMA assisted psychotherapy. Veronika obtained her MA degree in clinical psychology from Charles University in Prague and her MA in Integral Counselling from the California Institute of Integral Studies.  She is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, organic intelligence expert, realisation process teacher and certified EMDR therapist, accredited counsellor and training facilitator.
Since 2016, she has worked as a sub-investigator and co-therapist on the MAPS-funded Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials of MDMA-assisted therapy for the treatment of PTSD. She is also a MAPS supervisor and trainer-in-training. Together with her colleagues at Polaris Insight Center, she has developed and offers a comprehensive 10-module training and supervision in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. Veronika is committed not only to the ethical supervision and training of the future generation of psychedelic therapists, but also to ethical and conscious psychedelic business practice and fair training and treatment opportunities.
