Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy in Berlin, Munich, Mallorca & Andalusia
Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy in Berlin, as well as our other locations in Munich, Mallorca and Andalusia, is led by Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist Bibi Zazai.
Anxiety, sadness, crying fits, aggression, eating disorders – when children have worries, parents also suffer soul pain. What is still normal – and when is it time to seek outside help for children and young people?
All parents want their child to be well. Want to recognize real hardships of their child and do something about it. But it’s hard as a concerned parent to distinguish between normal worries and serious problems. Between phase and condition. A child and adolescent psychotherapist often finds better access to those concerned than family members.
According to studies, one in five children between the ages of 3 and 17 show mental health problems. Ten percent of this age group suffer from an anxiety disorder, about eight percent from depression, and doctors diagnose attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in just under five percent.
The earlier the child gets help, the better for the rest of his or her life.
Child and adolescent psychotherapist Bibi Zazai works lovingly and empathetically with children and adolescents in Berlin, Munich and Mallorca to show them new ways of looking at things through child and adolescent psychotherapy. The young patients learn to change their behavior and attitudes and to go new ways.

How does child and adolescent psychotherapy work?
Every child, every family, every disorder is individual. For certain diagnoses there are certain guidelines according to which the child and adolescent psychotherapist is guided. However, she always decides individually which treatment is suitable for each patient.
The main focus in child and adolescent psychotherapy is on analyzing behavior patterns and, if necessary, changing or optimizing them.
Problems are actively worked on with the children and adolescents. In the process, the young patients examine together with the psychotherapist the extent to which personal attitudes, such as “I am only worth something if I do everything perfectly,” are useful and meaningful and how they can be changed in order to actively address the management of problems.
Another central theme of child and adolescent psychotherapy in our practices in Berlin, Munich and Mallorca is to strengthen self-esteem or self-efficacy and to improve the children’s and adolescents’ own perception of their feelings.
Child and adolescent psychotherapy can be supported in our practices in Berlin and Munich as well as in our clinic on Mallorca by modern neuromodulation methods such as neurofeedback and HRV biofeedback.
At all our locations we offer child and adolescent psychotherapy for the treatment of AD(H)S, anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, somatoform disorders, tic-compulsive disorders and adjustment disorders.
Our therapeutic concept in child and adolescent psychotherapy also consists of intensive individual psychotherapy, relaxation, individualized sports therapy and modern neuromodulation and training methods, supplemented by further pharmacotherapy if necessary.
Due to the intensity and multimodality of the therapeutic approaches, we have an average treatment time of only two to a maximum of three weeks for inpatient therapy at our clinic in Mallorca. Admission together with the parents is possible. We offer outpatient child and adolescent psychotherapy in Berlin, Munich and Andalusia.
All our offers are in accordance with the latest scientific standards.
