Other important points are relaxation exercises, coordination, strengthening of deep muscles and balance. I always keep an eye on the correct movement and flow and immediately adapt the workouts to my clients' needs if necessary. I always look for solutions to make my clients feel good in their bodies during and after the workouts and create a workout that meets their needs.

Children and adolescents go through very different and sometimes difficult phases in their development. Everyday life at school, at home and in their environment requires a great deal of adaptability. If this adaptability falters, it can lead to insecurities. Reactions to insecurities can be very diverse.
Life can then become explosive and full of conflict. Some children and adolescents are sad and discontented, withdraw, inflict wounds on themselves or experience their own life as meaningless. Others eat so little that they endanger themselves.
These situations entail grief and suffering for the affected person, but also for his or her family members. However, these crises can also conceal opportunities to take new steps in development.
In difficult phases, it can be helpful if a neutral outsider is available for trusting conversations. This offers the opportunity to discuss even difficult issues. The point is to emerge stronger from this process. Self-confidence can grow and change processes can be set in motion.

Dr. Scheib began 1984 to integrate psychosomatic concepts as a GP in his practice in Frankfurt.1988 Practice for psychotherapy in Frankfurt am Main and training in psychoanalysis.
He organized and leaded medical trainings in transcultural psychosomatic and traditional medicine in Sri Lanka and Peru. Scientific work on the South American history of psychoanalysis. He is leader of Balint-groups and lecturer in relaxation techniques.
Since 1995 he has held seminars on basic psychosomatic care with a total of more than 15.000 participating doctors.
Since 2001 he developed a concept of multimodal treatment for mood- and psychosomatic disorders and addictions. He works with his international team at Clinica Luz in Palma. Since 2015 he includes ketamine iv-infusions in this concept.
Dr. Scheib is member of the International College of Psychosomatic Medicine, Deutsche Balint Gesellschaft, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Biofeedback, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ärztliche Hypnose und Autogenes Training and co-founder of the Hellenic Balint Society.

Since 2016, she has worked as a sub-investigator and co-therapist on the MAPS-funded Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials of MDMA-assisted therapy for the treatment of PTSD.
